Description

This is not a sequel to Tia Story, but instead combines Tia Story 1 and Tia story 2 into a single game, changing the progression of events somewhat and really fleshing out the world. The storyline is similar to Tia Story 2. Tia's father sets out on a journey to find where the god Almere is sealed. When he does not return after several years, Tia sets out for the holy land of Arutorania to find out what happened.

This brings many features to the Tia Story series whilst using the same menu-based systems of the previous two games. You still have the same 3 characters in your party, but eventually, you can add a fourth party member in the form of capturing 1 of 4 powerful beasts to fight with you. You also get a chance to play as a different party throughout various points in the story.

Now, each character has their own set of techniques that they learn over time. There's also a rather complex magic system. Instead of just casting spells with items, you purchase spells from magicians in various towns. Each character can use any spell from the magic pool, provided they have enough MP and the proper magic level. As you use spells, you rise in skill with magic, allowing you to use more powerful spells.

This game also brings a more complex equipment system to the table. In addition to adding more equipment slots, you can also craft equipment with various ingredients found throughout the world. Crafting only comes into play later in the game, but can make some of the most powerful pieces of equipment you can obtain. There are There are 10 different weapon categories to choose from, as well as herbal science, and magic. As you use each weapon type, you gain skill in that category, allowing you to do more damage and be more accurate with that weapon.

The game still has the battle arena and many other features from the other two games, making it a very nice addition to the series.
